About Sweet Tea and Cornbread NC
Now carrying Deweyβs Cookies and Sugar Cakes Featuring North Carolina Made Products
Sweet Tea and Cornbread NC is an other food place in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is listed at 4325 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612, which places it among the local businesses of Raleigh that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 10 amβ6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Sweet Tea and Cornbread NC at (919) 424-7515; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 44 reviews, which is a strong result for an other food place in Raleigh and suggests consistent service.
Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Discovered this store while visiting Raleigh a few years ago, and always stop by the few times I'm in the area. I'd be giving them a lot more money if I could order online and get stuff shipped. I was told by an employee one time they were working on creating a website two years ago, but still waiting sadly.

Lovely store and very nice but TOTAL RIP OFF on pricing. I bought a local product to avoid shipping charges but the total purchase was TWICE the cost of ordering direct and paying shipping. Bah humbug Will never shop here again and would urge you to check the online pricing.

The Store employee was super informative & nice. She gave us tons of background on several items in the store & also about the owner. Itβs a small, but super cute & organized store that sells sauces, coffees, Tea, Honey, jewelry, cooking products, decorations, shirts, & etc., all made by NC natives. They also sell Veteran owned products. My Mother In Law & Husband brought several items. Weβll definitely visit again, next time weβre in the area

This place was absolutely adorable and had a wonderful selection of products. However the employees made me want to NEVER return. My family walked in and were immediately greeted upon walking in by a woman who came and stood right beside us, didnβt say a word, and watched us like a hawk about two feet away from us, staring straight at us. She then followed us around the store as we shopped, and as soon as I picked an item up she ran up to me and told me it had to be kept at the counter. She then came back to continue following us around the store again. After being made to feel uncomfortable we decided to leave. We went to the register and the woman followed us back there, didnβt even smile, and said βAre you done?β as my daughter was trying to pick out a caramel at the register. My daughter got embarrassed and didnβt even get one because she felt uncomfortable as well at that point. She made me show her my ID for a jar of salsa and was just so rude the entire time. I wish I wouldnβt have been followed around and made to feel uncomfortable because there was a lot I liked and would have gotten. Unfortunately because of the attitude we received and being made to feel like a thief, I

Made a stop in today and chatted with Judy, what a lovely gal!! She made our visit a little more fun and we learned a lot about the store. The whole place is not very big, but they do carry many items all created, crafted, and sold with NC love. We'll be back!
